Creative Strategist

Birmingham, UK | Full-time
Who are we?

We do things a bit differently.

There’s no corporate nonsense, no old-fashioned hierarchy, and definitely no micro-management (we’re not a fan!).

We are a collective of young(ish) entrepreneurs running a digital marketing agency in the heart of Birmingham. We are self-starters who get stuff done and pull together as a squad to achieve big things.

What we do?

We work with e-commerce brands around the world from Malta to Malaysia, helping to scale their businesses through creative-led and data-driven social media marketing campaigns. We work with multiple 7 figure brands from a colourful variety of sectors including health, beauty, sportswear, fashion, kids toys and more.

The role?

Our Creative Team is the backbone of what we do.

We drive performance for clients through a process of coming up with new creative ideas for ad campaigns, testing these ideas out, analysing the results and then doubling down on what works. Our Creative strategists coordinate and manage the entire creative process from start to finish in collaboration with our Account Managers, the client and our team of freelance designers.

Here’s an overview of the day-to-day:

  • Storyboarding ideas in collaboration with clients and our account managers.

  • Creation of creative briefs for our designers to follow

  • Some copywriting for our own internal marketing and for our clients

  • Research new marketing developments, industry trends and identify potential creative opportunities for our clients.

  • Project manage teams of freelancers through the content production and curation process. This will include coordinating models, videographers, photographers, products and locations for content shoots.

  • Source and hire a power team of talented creative freelancers.

  • Manage the productivity and efficiency performance of the creative department.

  • Manage budgets and expenses for creative projects.

  • Troubleshoot underperforming ad creatives and find solutions to improve their performance.

What superpowers should you have?

This role is specifically for those with a degree in either Marketing or Advertising, or alternatively at least 1+ years of experience within Marketing or Advertising.

  • Have an eye for what looks ‘right’

  • A base understanding of digital marketing and ecommerce

  • Willing to work in a changeable, entrepreneurial environment as we grow

  • Invested in self improvement

  • Able to self teach from Google and Youtube when you get stuck
